Exciting News

I am very excited today! My friends surprise Miracle baby has arrived! She is a little girl called Sarah 

Sam, my friend has 3 teenage children already and before Sarah had 2 nasty miscarriages so I am happy to rejoice with the family over Sarah's safe arrival!

So in addition to my excitement for my friends and their tiny little miracle I have been asked to be Sarah's Godmother! I am thrilled!! I just wished I didn't live about 440 miles away! 

But at least I get to pop back to Cornwall for the Christening. I definitely can't miss that! I wonder how long I have to save up! 

Anyway my heartfelt Congratulations to Sam, Greg, Steven, David and Alley on the precious new addition to their Family!

Friendship Vignettes - Week 25 -Free Choice Week!

Hi! Welcome to week 25 of Friendship Vignettes! We can't believe we're on week 25 already and so decided to have a little celebration! We have new banners, a button to grab for your blog if you wish and new links from our blogs to our Friendship Vignettes blog where we have each weeks top photo's in one place. Just the photo's so they speak for themselves. So this week we decided to pick our own theme! I have chosen Braille. It was actually my second choice as health this week has dictated an indoor theme instead of my original outdoor theme. So Dad suggested Braille. He is blind and so there were plenty of things braille to take photo's of!

Friendship Vignettes - Week 24 - Looking Down

Hi! Welcome to week 24 of Friendship Vignettes! This weeks theme is Looking Down. Another record  this week - 73 photo's! Hope you don't mind looking at them all at least set to music it's not just like trawling through them individually. I had great fun this week (you might have guessed that from the number of pics taken) and I suffered for my craft climbing the stairs inside our local memorial so I could get some great shots from a height! My thighs and calves are still aching! I had 5 favourites and yes 2 of them featured my dear doggy Dulcie but I eventually picked the one that showed off some local flavour. A mosaic made out of pebbles depicting the Lancashire Rose and something else see the close up....is it  a dragon or a lion? I don't know the relevence. Maybe I should find out!

Friendship Vignettes - Week 22 - Date

Hi! Welcome to week 22 of Friendship Vignettes! This weeks theme is Date. Again this week has made me pay special attention to the world around me seeing things I haven't seen before. I have to say a big thank you to my mum with her eagle eyes especially noticing things while I'm driving. I wish I had been a bit more well this week to be able to get out and take some more but I am fairly happy with what I have managed and choosing a favourite was easy :-)
